180.261 Phosmet; tolerances for residues.
§ 180.261 Phosmet; tolerances for residues.(a) General. Tolerances are established for residues of the insecticide phosmet, N-(mercaptomethyl) phthalimide S-(O,O-dimethyl phosphorodithioate), including its metabolites and degradates, in or on the commodities in the following table. Compliance with the tolerance levels specified in this paragraph is to be determined by measuring only the sum of phosmet, N-(mercaptomethyl) phthalimide S-(O,O-dimethyl phosphorodithioate), and its oxygen analog, N-(mercaptomethyl) phthalimide S-(O,O-dimethyl phosphorothioate, calculated as the stoichiometric equivalent of phosmet, in or on the commodity.
