1452.236-70 Prohibition Against Use of Lead-based Paint.
As prescribed in 1436.570(b), insert the following clause:
Prohibition Against Use of Lead-Based Paint—Department of the Interior (JUL 1996)Paint containing more than .06 percent by weight of lead in paint, or the equivalent measure of lead in the dried film of paint already applied, shall not be used in the construction or rehabilitation of residential structures under this contract or any resulting subcontracts.
