§ 164.120-3 Definitions.

In this subpart, the term:

Acceptance means certification by the Coast Guard that a component is suitable for use in the manufacture of Coast Guard-approved lifeboats and rescue boats.

Commandant means Commandant (CG-ENG-4), Attn: Lifesaving and Fire Safety Division, U.S. Coast Guard Stop 7509, 2703 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE., Washington, DC 20593-7509.
