§ 90.379 ASTM E2213-03 DSRC Standard (ASTM-DSRC Standard).

Roadside Units operating in the 5850-5925 MHz band shall comply with the following technical standard, which is incorporated by reference: American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E2213-03, “Standard Specification for Telecommunications and Information Exchange Between Roadside and Vehicle Systems - 5 GHz Band Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) Medium Access Control (MAC) and Physical Layer (PHY) Specifications” published September 2003 (ASTM E2213-03 DSRC Standard). The Director of the Federal Register approves this incorporation by reference in accordance with 5 U.S.C. 552(a) and 1 CFR part 51.
