113.1 Scope and purpose.

§ 113.1 Scope and purpose.

This part applies to the mailing and shipment of hazardous, restricted, and perishable materials. In order to mail hazardous, restricted, and perishable materials, mailers must properly prepare their mailings in accordance with the standards contained in USPS Publication 52 (incorporated by reference, see § 113.2). Follow the requirements of § 113.3 in place of Publication 52, Appendix C, Packaging Instruction 6C.
